We are passionate about bringing the best home care services to seniors who need it in Council Bluffs, Glenwood, Red Oak, Clarinda, Harlan and the surrounding communities!

The HomeCare Advocacy Network of Southwest Iowa ownership team is diverse group of individuals with one thing in common – they all have roots in Southwest Iowa.

As a group, they are committed to providing members of the community with purpose-driven career opportunities while delivering exceptional care to seniors who want remain in their homes for as long as possible.

Niki Black

Director, HCAN Southwest Iowa

Niki Black has always called Southwest Iowa Home. A Council Bluffs native and graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, she has worked in healthcare for more than 23 years – first as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Jennie Edmundson Hospital and most recently as the Director of Rehabilitation in skilled nursing facilities in Southwest Iowa and Eastern Nebraska.

Niki’s passion for helping others is rooted in family and community – inspired by her aunt’s determination to continue living independent following a motorcycle accident that left her paralyzed. She loves watching others discover their own strengths and abilities, while helping them reach their goals. As

We take care of seniors! The AARP found that 90%+ of seniors want to “age in place,” requiring more home care services. As the world’s senior population grows, so will the need for senior home care services.

In home care is critical for so many seniors, who want to maintain their level of comfort in familiar surroundings.
